## How it works

1. **Choose your photos.** Upload from your phone or computer, crop each one to a 4x6 print, and see exactly what will be printed.
2. **Tell us where they are.** Search any federal, state, county or immigration facility. We know its mailing address, ID format and photo rules.
3. **We print and mail it right.** Real photo prints, addressed the facility's way, split into envelopes it will accept. Delivered, or your money back.

## Pricing

## Frequently asked questions

### Can you send photos to an inmate?

Yes. Almost every prison, jail and detention center accepts photos by mail, as long as they follow the facility's rules on size, number and content. We follow those rules for you.

### How much does it cost?

$0.99 per 4x6 photo print plus $4.99 per envelope, with no subscription. Ten photos in one envelope cost $14.89. Some facilities limit photos per envelope, so you always see the exact number of envelopes and total before you pay.

### Will they receive the actual photos?

It depends on the facility, and we tell you before you pay. Many prisons and jails now photocopy mail or scan it to a tablet instead of handing over prints. Federal prisons, for example, give most people a color copy. Where a facility delivers prints, they get real 4x6 photo prints.

### What if the facility rejects or returns the photos?

You get a full refund or a free reprint, your choice. That covers returns for any reason except photos showing content you confirmed wasn't in them, or the person being released or moved before we mailed. See our Refund Policy.

### Which facilities can I send to?

Federal prisons and camps, state prisons, county and city jails, and immigration detention centers across the U.S. Youth facilities are supported after we confirm their mail rules, and only for people allowed to contact the young person.

### What information do I need?

The facility, the person's name, and their ID number as the facility writes it: a Register Number for federal prisons, a state number for state prisons, a booking number for most jails, or an A-Number for immigration detention. For federal prisons we can look the number up for you.

### How long does delivery take?

We print and mail after you pay. If a facility limits how many photos it accepts per day, we spread envelopes over several days. After that, timing depends on the postal service and the facility's mailroom, which can take several days to process incoming mail.

### Is my information private?

Yes. We remove location data from every photo, never publish anything about you or the person you're sending to, delete photos after your order is done, and take payment through Stripe so we never see your card number.
